The Granadilla de Monte requires a sunny or semi-shadow exposure, a climate of mild winters and protected from the wind. Always keep in mind that it is a tropical plant.
It is an undemanding plant with the soil as long as it is well drained and contains some organic matter. In case of transplanting or planting in its final place, it should be done in spring.
Water regularly (once a week or more if it is hot) so that the soil is always fresh, taking into account that it does not tolerate excessive watering or drought.
You don't need special fertilizers, just add some compost or manure to the soil every fall.
It should be pruned often (in early spring) to control its growth and strengthen the plant.
It is a fairly resistant plant that does not usually present problems with pests and diseases, although it can be the victim of some caterpillars.
They can be multiplied from cuttings taken from the top of the plant during early spring. It can also be done by seeds sown at the same time.
