Description
The black currant belongs to the Grossulariaceae family. It is a leafy shrub that in nature can grow to 1.50 meters. It has serrated leaves, and the underside is pale. Its flowers are greenish on the outside and reddish on the inside. Its fruit is the black currant, whose pulp is reddish and has a sweet taste. It is similar in shape to blueberry.
