Description

Outdoor bonsai of Mediterranean origin. Highly valued for its abundant spring blooms and its fruit, the small apples. It requires both sun and cold for proper fruiting. Location: Although it adapts well to different climates, its optimal development occurs in sunny areas year-round. It tolerates frost, although protection is recommended when temperatures drop below -2°C (28°F). Watering: It needs frequent watering in summer and more moderate watering in winter. During flowering, it is important to avoid wetting the flowers and prevent waterlogging.
