Description
Gabions are containers made of rigid panels of electrowelded steel wire mesh, which are filled with stones or other suitable material. To avoid the oxidation and corrosion that humidity and environmental contamination can cause on iron (the main component of steel), it uses a continuous hot-dip galvanizing procedure, with a 90% Zinc + 10% Aluminum alloy. This metal coating, Zn90Al10 class A of the wire, provides 3 to 5 times greater anti-corrosion protection than hot Zn galvanization. The use of our gabions is recommended in the design of gardens, exterior spaces, separation and nition of spaces, planters, small walls and terraces.
