Long, cold winters and short summers, characteristic of the Estonian region, achieve a slow growth rate of the trees, giving them longevity and durability. We highly value the aesthetic aspects of spruce - its crisp, light Nordic tone and small knots.
Estonia is known as a country with more than half of its forest area and as a place where wood processing is a long historical tradition. Our ancestors used wood as the main construction material and of the oldest wooden houses in Estonia there are more than 300 years old. We are proud to continue that centuries-old tradition and passion for this warm, natural, energy-saving and sustainable material.
