Tulipan Negro Queen of night

Tulips are single-flowered and facing upward; Composed of six closed petals and six stamens.

Flowering lasts from the end of October to the middle of December, depending on the variety.

The time to plant the bulbs is in Autumn-Winter.

It grows up to about 20 centimeters high and contrary to what is supposed, they are very resistant to cold and strong winds.

They have very good behavior in well-drained soils.

When the flower withers, it is advisable to cut it at its base and allow it to continue its cycle approximately four weeks after the flower falls.

The bulbs can then be removed and stored in a cool place and

aerated until planting time.

The distance between bulbs must allow the planting of 30 of them per square meter.

The depth should not exceed 10 centimeters.
