Care and recommendations
Pine is one of the trees that requires more sun exposure, so it is recommended to have it on balconies, patios or terraces.
Regarding its watering, it has to be very controlled and especially if our pot does not have an efficient drainage.
This occurs because the Prebonsai Pinus has difficulty absorbing nutrients from the soil on its own; needing the help of a species of fungi that inhabit its roots.
Excess water can drown these fungi and cause our pine tree to starve.
The pinus and an ancient tradition
When evangelization came to Germany more than a thousand years ago, Saint Boniface planted a pine tree to replace an Oak that was part of his religious cult.
The pine, was an alliance between both religions and its evergreen leaves symbol of the love towards Christ that always lasts.
