Description
Native to subtropical southern China, Musa Basjoo is a perennial herbaceous plant with green leaves up to 2 meters long. It produces flower and also fruit: the Japanese banana. It is considered an outdoor plant, although it can be grown indoors with plenty of space. After flowering and bearing fruit, the stem dies, although it leaves behind a bulb that forms new stems year after year.
