Heliconia Hawaii tropical indoor plant

Description

It is a herbaceous perennial plant native to some islands such as Hawaii. It is characterized by its green, shiny and pointed leaves on vertical stems and by its tall flowers in yellow, orange and red tones. It requires very bright places, even direct sunlight in the morning or late afternoon. On the other hand, its irrigation must be frequent and abundant during the summer, avoiding flooding it and during the winter the irrigation must be reduced, but keeping the soil always moist.
