It needs to be located in full sun or semi-shade. It is resistant to frost (although they are intense, it can dry out, but in the spring it sprouts again), humidity and even shady areas. It is a species that develops in any type of soil, except those that get flooded. In addition, thanks to its root system it adapts to poor soils. Irrigation should be moderate, but frequent, taking care to avoid waterlogging the substrate.
