Substrate and plantation
Coleos are not demanding of the soil; with any standard substrate they will feel comfortable. Of course, they prefer something loose to facilitate drainage, and if it has a slightly acidic pH, the better.
Lighting:
Indoors it needs a lot of light, but not direct light, to stay healthy and preserve its colors. If the leaves do not receive sufficient light, they will be dull and may even fall. Place it near a window whenever possible.
