Irrigation or water distribution
By definition, a greenhouse is a shelter and plants do not benefit from rainfall. So you must provide an irrigation system.
Install a recuperator under the downspout of the gutter and empty it into a bucket located inside the greenhouse, the bucket must have a lid to prevent algae from forming.
If you do not have a system to recover rainwater, you should consider making an extension from your pipe network and installing a gate in the greenhouse or if you have the opportunity to have a well, you can also use an electric pump of which they come on automatically when placed on the tap.
Aspersion
The irrigation system in the form of very fine rain by means of sprinklers placed on the greenhouse roof contributes to lowering the environmental temperature, since it is usually very high and this helps young plants, seeds and cuttings to withstand the dryness of the air.
Ventilation
The function of a fan is to promote air circulation inside a greenhouse. It also helps to homogenize the temperature and distribute the humidity in the air. There are automatic ventilation systems that operate without electricity or any other type of energy.
