San Jordi will soon arrive, a day especially celebrated in Catalonia, where the streets will be filled with paraditas with thousands of red roses and thousands of books full of stories. How to choose the ideal pot?
The first thing to know is where it is going to be placed, whether inside or outside. If it is an outdoor pot, make sure that it has holes so that when it rains, the water does not accumulate and rot the roots. From there, the size and material will depend on the characteristics of the plant and the weather conditions. The material can be very diverse, from plastic, mud, wood, metal, glass or fiberglass. And another element to take into account is if the pot has a self-watering system, whereby the plant absorbs stagnant water through absorption tubes, thus saving up to 35% of water.
In general, the outdoor pots also work for the indoor ones, it will only be necessary to cover the hole already created if desired.
