This material specification applies to sheets less than 12.5 mm thick made from COR-TEN A.
Weather resistant means that due to the chemical composition of COR-TEN A, when used without protection (varnishes, epoxies), an increase in resistance to atmospheric corrosion is observed compared to other non-alloy steels.
